the cars been sitting since spring of last year when we got heavy into racing season and i did some trading with my brother.. ditched the efi kit for a complete ls 4.8 swap.
had the engine on the stand for 8 months after accumulating some parts here and there but not really interested in the swap.
then we had an unforseen passing of a very close family member and a big part of the family and that has turned me back to this project.
one of those lifes to short to not do the things you want to do.... never thought this car would have a meaning like that but when your world is turned upside down you tend to find new light in very dark times. times like this really help someone grow or they can tear some apart.... i already put my pieces back together but never will they be the same...
i know its just a car but now its a mean to life for me so with that said and my little girl missing her favorite car to ride in im back to working on "O"
so far i have motor mounts, advanced adapters flex plate, holley 302-2 pan, a set of ebay turbo headers some needed gaskets and such, standalone harenss.
ended up tearing the heads of to inspect the cylinders and all looks good. going back in with ls9 head gaskets, a brian tooley cam, double valve springs and trunnion kit.
should have it back in the car this week/weekend to get turbo plumbing started and my injectors should be here by next week.
