    Just watched the Engine Masters they tested bunch of belt driven fans for parasitic loss.

    A factory GM fan without a clutch sucked 30hp from a 350 ! I suspected something like that

    after I tried few belt driven fans then went to an electric setup last year but wow even the clutch

    fan in a cold room took 15hp.

    All things being driven take HP!

    That's why a Powerglide transmission takes less horse power than a turbo 400 or even a turbo 350.

    Electric radiator fans are the way to go.
